Some of you may think that I'm crazy to go to a public pool to swim when we have one of our own. Sometimes we get bored swimming in ours and let's face it, my kids need a little more interaction with other kids. So occasionally we go to Stapley pool and swim. It's so fun and it hasn't been very crowded. Yesterday we showed up at about 5:00pm thinking we would have and hour of swim, perfect, and it just so happened to be their big Bubble Bash and they were going to be open until 8:00pm. So instead of one hour we got three.
They had a bubble machine, Simon's worst nightmare, and then other activities for the kids. You just paid regular admission $1.50 for kids and $3 for adults, then stay as long as you like. They're kind of sticklers when it comes to rules, but I know my kids will be safe there because the lifeguards are very watchful. I'm always very impressed with them when we go. The only down side with going to public pools is that they are dirty and you never now if there's going to be Crypto bacteria in it. Yuck!
