These are a few...

Well, since my blog is called 'Favorite Things' I decided I should share my three most favorite. Jarred, Oliver, and Simon. My world completely revolves around them. Really, could there be a sweeter picture of them? I often wonder how I tricked Jarred into marrying me. Honestly! And then to have two of the most amazing little boys on Earth. I must have done something good at some point in my life to have all this.


How cute can two boys get? Oliver is right now growing his hair out so he can perm it. Perm it.... really? Yes, that's right. He wants to look like Corbin Blue. How cute is that? Never has it occurred to him that he is a different race and it would be next to impossible for his hair to look as 'cool' as Corbin's. So I just don't tell him. But he is anxiously awaiting that day when it will slightly resemble his idol. I feakin' love him!
At first we didn't have much hope for Simon in the looks department. I mean, he looked just like Jarred did as a baby except he had my fat nose and we all know that Jarred was not exactly the cutest baby. But I think Simon gets cuter everyday now. He still has his moments though. He only army crawls so his shirts are all filthy and he just recently started pulling himself up into standing position in his crib and at the couch. Ya, he's a little lazy. Nine months old and he still won't hold his own bottle. Gotta love that kid!
Oh Jarred, my 'Rock Star'. How I love being your #1 fan! Always so thoughtful and kind. I think that's what I like about him most. He's never mean. Angry yes, but mean no. And he puts up with me and my unintelligent ramblings. He's is my perfect match in every way!

Oliver

So Oliver's in pre-school now and enjoying every minute of it. Except for the minute it takes me to get him out of the car. Under no circumstances am I to walk him to the door. You see Oliver is a little embarrassed of his Mom, which I don't understand. I'm freakin' AWESOME! The sooner he learns this the better his life is gonna be. Jarred was so nice to explain this to him so Monday After making sure that no one was around, Oliver actually kissed me really fast before he ran into school. Awwww....... He does love me!

"Terrible Tuesdays!"

So many of you know how Jarred and I are probably the two most unlucky people ever so I'm going to start my "Terrible Tuesdays!" section which I will try and cover everything that happened up to Tuesday.
So Monday was pretty uneventful up until 10:30am when SRP showed up to turn our power off." What the F!" Apparently there was some misunderstanding, but they came back out and turned it on at about 1:00pm. No harm done.....or so we thought. Then at about 11:00pm Jarred noticed that the air conditioner was making really weird noises. "Crap! The last time that happened was when it went out last year when I was 7 months pregnant." So Tuesday morning we called a place and they were just here informing me that we need a new AC unit because ours is like 14 years old. "Big deal, I'm like 30 years old and Jarred hasn't gotten me replaced." Apparently 14 years old is a bad thing in Air conditioning though. The repair man said he could replace a part for about $400 dollars and it would fix it short term. "Really $400, is that all. Not a problem. I often keep that much in Oliver's pockets, let me just go get my four year old." That wouldn't normally be a big deal but we just put $800 into Jarred's truck and now his air doesn't work in that so it's getting fixed right now.......again. So I'm car less today and normally that wouldn't be such a big deal, but I was supposed to go get my teeth cleaned. So I had to reschedule that and the time they had available was on Sept. 18th and 7:30 am! "Are you kidding?" Those of you who know me know why that is a big deal. "Nothing happens in my house before 9:00am." My kids and I both sleep until then, sometimes later. I don't know how I got so lucky to have not one, but two boys who love to sleep just as much as their mother, but I'm not gonna mess things up and try to have a third. With my luck it would be a girl who would be up at the crack of Sam!
So there you have it. My "Terrible Tuesdays!"

OK. So my baby is cute (sort of) but my blog is ugly. Someone needs to help me figure this stuff out.
