Halloween Eve.........

Grouch baby. Happy brother.

Sleepy Daddy and.......

Crazy Mother!

So, I've never been one to go all out for Halloween, but this year we almost forgot it completely. Thank goodness Oliver and Simon didn't seem to notice.

Oliver did NOT enjoy cleaning out the pumpkins. He said, (Gag) "This makes my mouth need to frow-up! I can't do it!" Seriously, he was gagging and he couldn't stop. Pumpkin innards used to do the same thing to me when I was little. The finished product was worth however much gagging might have occurred though. Hopefully next year we can make it to the pumpkin patch before Halloween Eve. If I'm gonna pay that much for a pumpkin I want it to stick around for longer than two days.

A New Look

I'm really trying to become more computer literate so in my attempts I decided to change my back ground. At one point I thought I had lost everything so I called Jarred in tears hoping he could fix what I messed up. Then it all of the sudden fixed itself and I was left feeling like and idiot and a liar. This is why I never attempt anything new. Do you like the new look though. I know it's a little late for Halloween, but Thanksgiving and my birthday are just around the corner so I thought, why not some "Fall?"

Tagged

Well, I thought for sure I would never have to do one of these, but here I am doing one. Thanks to Michelle C. I usually hate these, but this one isn't that bad. I just have to tell 6 things about me: habits, traits, deep dark secrets, etc. and then tag 6 more people. So here we go.

1) I think "Snoop Dog" is hot. It started a few years ago when Jimmy Kimmel began his late night show. "Snoop" was one of his guest and he was just so funny that I was immediately attracted to him.

2) I know cars. This one turns Jarred on. I can often tell him the year and model of most cars. I started doing this when I first moved to the Valley 9 years ago out of fear that I would be witness to a hit and run and wouldn't be able to identify the car.

3) I love feta cheese! But really, who doesn't? I worked for a woman 8 years ago who introduced me to this fabulous stuff called "French Feta." You can buy it by the lb. at this place in Tempe called "Haji Baba's." I could eat the whole chunk of it by myself.

4) I hate Julia Stiles! But really, who doesn't? It all started when she first opened her mouth in "10 Things I Hate About You" and I saw her awful teeth and heard her terrible acting. Then it continued when she appeared with the beloved "Jason Bourne" in all three "Bourne" movies. Praise the Lord she had next to no speaking lines, and didn't kiss "Jason" in the third one. I would never be able to see another Matt Damon movie again if she would have.

5) I don't like to drive or go anywhere. This poses a problem since my parents live 4 hours away, Jarred's live 3 hours away and a lot of our friends live in Queen Creek or Peoria. (Note: I said "a lot" not "all.") There's nothing better than renting a movie and popping some corn so the family can curl up on the couch and hang out. I love staying home!

6) I love to vacuum. Really, I do it every day. It's therapeutic. Plus I know that if I can see vacuum lines, there's no dog hair on the floor. So there always has to be lines.

*Bonus: Hair grosses me out! For real, I often gag when cleaning out my hair brush and vacuum.

OK, I tag Trish, Mechelle, Raysha, Louann, Whitney and KT now.

New Friends

These are Oliver's three best friends that he met at Disneyland, Ro, Mo and Ally. Ro and Ally were actually in town visiting Jarred's cousin Rex and Mo just got a job at Disneyland when we met them. And here they are, "webbing" the camera.

They hit it off with Oliver and as you can see, were inseparable for most of the day. Going on rides and waiting in line for all the rides I had no desire to go on. It was so sweet of them. And they really seemed to enjoy it.

But as always, Nana and Rex were his most favorite. They always are. I'm sure he would pick either one of them over me. Rex is freaking "Pluto!" I can't compete with that.

He also knows every song and dance from "High school Musical" and sang them to Oliver, who is now positive that Rex is a "Superstar."

Then on to the "Rainforest" we go.......

"O" is for Oliver!

Simon got super grouchy after our little beach outing so we left him with Nana and then decided it was time for Oliver to find out exactly where we were. So we went to Rain Forest Cafe in Downtown Disney.

As soon as we got to Disney Way to go park Oliver made this face and exclaimed, " Hey guys, we're at Disneyland!" and continued with the silliness as we got on the train to Downtown.

I love eating at the "Rain Forest." Oliver usually freaks out and thinks that the rainstorms and animals are real, but this time he didn't. After we were done eating Oliver made a wish that we would have a good time at Disneyland the next day.

And we did have fun until this happened.

Oliver's fit. I still have no idea what this was all about. Come on, he goes to the happiest place on Earth and he does variations of this EVERY single time we come here. Every time we say we're never bringing him back and then we bring him back. What's wrong with us?

Surprise...we're at the Beach!

Oliver had no idea where we were going when we went to California. So you can imagine how excited he was when we arrived at Huntington Beach.

He had to find as many sea shells as his hands could hold. His Nana was very good at helping him save every single one so he could bring them home to show his class at school.

He also had no idea how nervous it made me for him to play in the waves. I could totally see a wave come along and knock him down, then drag him out to sea where he would have been devoured by a whale. I sat on the beach screaming when ever I thought he got to close to the big waves. Jarred kept telling me to calm down. I never did. At least not until we left.

We had lots of fun though.

Trip to Disneyland from the start

On our way to Disneylands we stopped in "Craphole, USA" to get some gas. I'm not sure if you can read this sign, but it says,"Try our new Waffle cone Copenhagen buy 2 save 2.s0" I'm not sure what they ment. Does waffle cone come in Copenhagen flavor?
