Trip to Disneyland from the start

On our way to Disneylands we stopped in "Craphole, USA" to get some gas. I'm not sure if you can read this sign, but it says,"Try our new Waffle cone Copenhagen buy 2 save 2.s0" I'm not sure what they ment. Does waffle cone come in Copenhagen flavor?

Little Giant

We got home from California Tuesday night and once again I find myself wondering Why? Why in the world did I think I would be a good idea to take a 4 year and a 11 month old to Disney Land? Why do I continue to torture myself like that? Oh, and Jarred thought it would be a good idea to leave our " Double Jogger" at home and rent a stroller since we get a free one with our Disney Visa anyway and I had my mya wrap. My dear friends if any of your spouses ever suggest this please, twist their nipples with such force that they forget the very thing they suggested. We had to park in "Simba" and there is no f-ing tram to that lot so guess WHO had to walk all the way carrying a 26lb. baby until we rented a stroller at DL? That would be me. "F!"

From now on, Jarred is carrying this "Little Giant."

My little stud

Oliver wanted to go out and feel the pool today. I said it was going to be very cold, but took him out to feel it for himself. I looked at the thermometer and it said 81 degrees. Oliver said it was warm and wanted to jump in, so I said,"Go ahead." He put on his "one" floatie and in he went, clothes and all. What a stud! Couldn't get him to swim during the summer when the pool was 94 degrees, but now that it's 81 degrees he wants to swim everyday. Go figure.

Mr. Patriotic

This guy right here is why I LOVE small towns. I know, I know, this person is the reason why my friend Amy hates small towns, bust just look at him. He's got his Nice "American Flag" Sunday shirt on with his pants tucked very neatly into his boots. And lets not forget about the neon orange baseball cap. I love it! Shouldn't he be holding his hat over his heart though?

Here you can kind of see the whole shirt from behind. Jarred often calls St. Johns the most patriotic town in the World, and who can argue when you see something like this? Just ran down to " Whiting Bro.'s Quick Stop" for some pizza and a Coke.

This picture was taken right before well all left St. Johns and saw Mr. Patriotic on Sunday. This was all the family that came up form the Valley, minus my sis-in-laws, for my dad's Surprise 60th Birthday party. I need to borrow my sister Kalicia's camera so I can post the party pictures. My camera was a No-Show when it came time to go to the party. It showed up after it was over of course.

Rex Allen Days

We went to Willcox this last weekend for part of the 'Rex Allen Days' or R.A.D. celebration. What's 'Rex Allen Days'? Well, Rex Allen was a famous singing cowboy who was from Willcox. He narrated some Disney movies and his son Rex Allen Jr. narrated the Jim Carey movie "Me, Myself and Irene." He's not alive anymore thanks to his secretary who ran him over after he had a heart attack a few years ago, but in her defense, she had no idea he fell down behind he car. Anyway, the people dedicate a whole weekend to this man, and celebrate like there's no tomorrow. It's the equivalent of the 24th of July celebration in St. Johns. So we were there for part of the festivities. We usually are there for the who thing, but my dad's big 60th Surprise Birthday Party was on Saturday so we had to take off and go to St. Johns.

Gary (my father-in-law) has a beautiful sister named Laura who comes from Chicago(?) to sing and take part in all of the FUN cowboy festivities that happen ever R.A.D. weekend. We told Oliver that she was his Great Aunt, so of course he thought it was because she bought him this "fabulous" toy.

She bought Evann one too. Then she gave them some money to buy some popcorn at the Homecoming football game later that night. Thank you Aunt Laura!

This is the three boys with their "Great Aunt." We only see her once a year at most so we always try to get tons of pictures when she comes. Isn't she a total BABE?! Can you believe she has two girls in college?!

Simon's first Haircut

Tonight at approximately 9:45 pm I gave Simon his very first haircut. It was definitely time since it was hanging in his eyes. He was super good and held still, no crying either. It could have quite possibly been the best kid haircut ever! I didn't even recognize him when I was done though. Seriously! Someone could have taken him from me, cut his hair, then walked past me and I wouldn't even have noticed. He's so handsome now. My "little ugly" is now my "little handsome." Awwwww, I love that little guy!

Princess Who?

Today I told my adorable niece Abby that I would do her hair like Cinderella's if she was good for her mommy. She was, so we did it, but as we were finishing guess who came in and said,"Oh, mommy I can't wait to be a princess with Abby for Halloween!" What the crap Oliver! My plan has totally backfired. He really likes the princess picture on his door too. He shoved his boy cousin for tearing it down. Now what!
