Fun date and GOOD idea!

Jarred and I are really trying to go on more dates and get back in touch with each other after 8 years of marriage. Sad that it's taken so long to start doing this, but better late than never. It gets hard to come up with new ideas every weekend though. We decided to go check out the new Mall in Gilbert. I must say it is pretty cool. I like Tempe Market place better, but Gilbert is a close second. So after dinner at Johnny Rockets we attempted to go do some clothes shopping, but that wasn't really working out and we didn't want to see a movie. Just as we had almost given up hope of finding Bliss we past a nail salon.............PEDICURES! Yes!

I must say it took some encouragement, but Jarred couldn't bare to see me disappointed so he gave in.

So after the nice pedicure man had scrubbed 29 years of hard-core callouses off Jarred's feet, he had to admit it was quite relaxing. He even said he would be willing to go once a month. Then he put his flip-flops on and strangely, felt them for the first time.
Thank you Jer-bear for humoring me and taking care of your foot health. I can't wait until next month!

Jeeperz Creeperz!

Once a week a group of moms in our ward try to get together and do fun stuff with the kids. Yesterday we went to "Jeeperz." If you have a group of 10 or more you can get a special group price, I think it was like $8 per person. That includes rides, two slices of pizza and drinks. I don't think parents had to pay.

Simon loved this little bike, it was a token ride not included in the cover price and had super annoying sound effects. The ride in the background was part of the $8 deal though. Sorry Lindy for the attractive shot of you.

Oliver loved this and I knew Simon and I would not so I let him ride it while Simon continued to ride the annoying bike.

These bumper cars were super fun too. Oliver could have played on them all day I'm sure. Too bad the creepy child molesters started showing up around 2:00 so we had to leave. We had 3 hours of fun before they got there though.

Just a word of advice, show up at 11:00 am right when it opens. No one is there and you can have it all to yourselves before said molesters show up and turn place in to "Jeeperz Creeperz."

May I have your attention please?

I just wanted to call everyone's attention to my new counter at the top of my blog. On August 2, 2008 at approximately 12:01am the Fourth book in the "Twilight" series "Breaking Dawn" will be released. I feel like a teenage girl. Why am I so excited about this? Please, someone tell me that you are just as excited about this as me so I can tell my husband I'm not the only "middle aged" women with this obsession. Anyone?

Here's to U- tah

My parents have been freezing in Utah for last week and a half while visiting my Granny who is in a nursing home. They said it snowed 4 inches the first day they were there and it was snowing just now when I called them. Well I just had to brag to them that the weather was so nice here in AZ that Oliver just had to get in the pool. So I told them to stop by on their way home tomorrow and warm up.

Here's Oliver jumping in.

What a stud! The pool is only 76 degrees.

Is nothing sacred anymore?

Sorry, I know I gave everyone a hard time for having this little dude on their comment moderation, but I understand the importance of it now. So please forgive me for putting it on mine too. I know the word verifications are super annoying but they are here to protect us. Is no one safe from spam? How could some one defile my blog this way. Really....I'm actually sick. Please take this as a warning, if you haven't enabled this little thing do so immediately and keep those awful spammers from defiling your precious blogs!
